1. If possible, please send $2 to school to help purchase a thank you give for our DARE constable. She has given a lot of time and energy to our class, and we are hoping to do something nice for here.  We need this by Thursday at the latest.
2. Dare graduation Dec 3rd. Parents welcome to attend.  Please see homework page or previous emails for details.DARE projects need to be completed for Thursday, our last DARE session. Constable Schwartz and I will be choosing projects to be shared at the graduation at this time.  We will have our last in class time for this today.
3. Math unit test, tentative date: Wednesday, Dec 4th. Review will be sent home, as per usual.  See homework page for additional details.
4. Report cards coming home this Thursday. OPTIS is now open to book conference sessions. Students will be dismissed early next Thursday, and there is no school Friday the 6th due to teacher PL.
5. If anyone has any holiday cards/ribbon/card making supplies etc that can be cut up and reused to make new cards, we would appreciate anything you can send in. We are hoping to make cards as thank yous for a number of our staff including our cleaners, as part of our acts of kindness advent calendar.

We use the book often at school, please make sure this book comes back to school every day. Please take the time to support your child with writing a few sentences in French about their experiences, and paste in photos or drawings. They will read these aloud to the class on Mondays as part of their French speaking mark. Google translate is a good tool for finding an unknown word ie the name of a sport or activity they did together. There are also a number of examples of entries posted on google classroom.

We reviewed in class today for our math unit test, which will take place on Thursday, Nov. 14th. We will correct/refresh the review on Wednesday. Any unfinished booklet pages on order of operations can be used as extra review.
