Welcome! Great first class...minus that one little mistake I made! : )

Today I discussed expectations, materials, policies with the students.

Our google classroom code is: 64mbcaa

Here is what students will need:

Students are asked to have 2 black binders (a 1 inch and a 2 inch) as well as 8 exercises, dividers, loose leaf and graph paper.

The 1 inch binder should be brought to class each day. It needs 1 divider, 1 exercise, a couple of sheets of loose leaf and a couple of sheets of graph paper. All materials for the current unit will be placed in this binder.

The 2 inch binder will remain home until the end of unit 1. It should have 8 dividers. At the end of each unit, students will place the materials from the unit in the 2 inch binder for future review. These things will be needed for the mid-year assignment and the final exam.

As we begin a new unit, students should put a new exercise in the 1 inch binder and replenish the loose leaf paper.

Student also need a pencil case containing a calculator, pencils, an eraser, a covered sharpener, a small ruler, and a couple of colouring pencils. A geometry set is needed for the last part of the year and can be left home until then.

The binder, textbook, and pencil case should be brought to class every day.
